The kids got to make pirate hats, flags, picture frames, etc.! It was a super fun evening! We were able to see some of the nurses and NP's that had a huge impact on Anna's little life. It was great to see them and thank them for all their efforts! Heather and Chad loved being involved with all the festivities!
Brooke and I became great friends while being in the NICU. Her son Hudson and Anna were roomates. He was born on August 5th, 2009 at 26 weeks. He is doing fantastic! It was awesome to see him crawling around, sitting up, and clapping his hands...what a little miracle!
It will be so fun to watch them grow up together. I can't wait to get more pictures of them as they get older. So crazy all that these two went through together in the NICU...one day they will have to compare notes! :)
