Moving

We apologize that we have not posted for a while. About two months ago Noah and I put an offer on a home that was a short sale - expecting a wait of about 4-6 months before hearing anything. Our offer got accepted, though, and we had to put our plans on the fast track (thank you to all who helped us move!). And praise God we were able to find renters for our home the same day that we heard from the bank (we had jumped the gun a little and were advertising our home for rent)! Lord willing we will be moving into the new place in a few weeks. It's only a few miles away from our current home. It's a bit larger than our home and will hopefully be a place we can house people in the future, long-term or short-term....SO COME STAY WITH US!! Well, if/when we do move in!

Anna Joy has been eating really well over the last two weeks, but just in the last couple days has just absolutely refused to eat altogether. Even the sight of the bottle makes her so upset and distraught it is bewildering us. We are praying for a miracle for our little one. We are back to giving her the medication again for yeast and fungus overgrowth with the assumption that this is what a her problem continues to be. The theory is that the past rounds of meds have fought it back, but it multiplies and returns once she's off of it. We REALLY want to also get her weaned off of the Prilosec she is on for her reflux, as it suppresses stomach acid production and may be the lead contributor to her bacteria imbalance. But we've tried weaning her from it before and she experiences enough pain not to eat, and that puts us in the same boat. So we just need to wait for her to become physically strong enough to keep her stomach contents below her esophagus - then wean her from the Prilosec. In a perfect world, we wouldn't give her another single dose. Please give us patience, Lord!

Heather and Chad are enjoying the time at "Papa and Mom's" house (grandma and grandpa). At the same time, they're going a little stir crazy with the changes and with their new shared quarters that are a little tighter than what they're used to. Every day they ask, "When are we going to get to live in the Marcliffe house?" We're now doing a countdown with them, but at the same time, we've just submitted an addendum to our offer upon results of the home inspection. We are playing the waiting game now. It's a blessing to have a great place to live while we find out where we are going to live next - thanks Mom and Dad!!
