Daddy-Daughter Date

Noah took Heather on a date to a Boise Hawks game. She was so excited that they were going together to see a game. Noah was nervous that she might get bored sitting through 3 hours, but she loved every minute! She wanted to know everything about the field and the teams, so Noah started explaining the game and couldn't believe how much was jargon! When he explained the batters on deck, she said, "But he's not on a deck, he's on the dirt!" She was eventually telling him how many baserunners there were and who was "on the deck." They got to witness a grand slam, right as Noah was explaining what it was...yeah! At the end of the game, the kids are allowed to run the bases. When Heather was 2 and 3 Noah ran the bases with her, but this year she ran them all by herself and high-fived people as she ran! When she got back to Noah she said, "Daddy, I ran on the deck!" Noah said that he had tears in his eyes as he watched his little princess take off around the bases. She's growing up so fast!
