So we are having dinner and we hear this sound...my Dad points out the window and says "OH, my gosh!!!" Yes! The tree fell down during a big wind storm! It really scared Heather, she had a hard time going to sleep that night wondering if more trees were going to fall. We all prayed together and thanked the Lord that it didn't fall on us or hurt anyone. Our neighbors came running out of their cabin to make sure we were okay. We are SO thankful that the Lord took care of us!
My Dad is going to have a lot of work ahead of him!! Know anyone who has a chainsaw we could borrow?

Maybe it is the Lord's way of providing firewood for your parent's cabin for winter! Just think he won't have to go anywhere else to buy it and haul it there!
So glad you were all fine and it didn't damage the cabin! That was quite the windstorm - we were all running for cover up at camp too.
Oh my goodness! Praise God for protecting you and making this a fun memory to share! Let us know if you need any help. I think it would be fun to bring the kids up.
